Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple Open House

June 2009 we had the opportunity to tour the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was a fantastic experience for my kids to see the amazing detail and beauty of the Temple. They were so quiet and respectful and really felt the calming spirit of the temple. As you can see, by the end though, Evie was ready to go and tried to escape this picture!

Grandma's Applesauce

Stratton is in love with Great Grandma Buswell's applesauce. After the first time he tried it, he was hooked! Now each time we visit Great Grandma he loves to sit down to a bowl of Grandma's applesauce. Evie thinks it's pretty good too... Thanks Grandma!

MusikGarten

This past year Evie and Stratton have been enrolled in Amy's MusikGarten. They had been taking a Kindermusik class prior to this. MusikGarten in similar but is a little more of a holistic approach to music and prepares them for playing the piano. It was so much fun and a real highlight of the week. Stratton attended his class on his own, and I attended class with Evie. Evie was so shy at first, but soon warmed up to it and really loved it. It has been so much fun to see my kids enjoy music as much as I do. It has been a great experience and I'm so glad we found this class and curriculum!
