Puppet Show

Stratton loves to make and create puppets. This particular day, he invited Jacob Price to join him in this puppet making project. Between the 2 of them, I think they made around 30 puppets. Then they proceeded to pop like 7 microwave bags of popcorn, which they stuffed into little popcorn bags. Then they went around the neighborhood and invited friends to come to the puppet show. They gave their friends popcorn to munch on while they performed their puppet show. It was a fun event. Leave it to Stratton to come up with this fun idea!

Comfortable?

Comfortable? Mmmm, well that's questionable. Stratton looks pretty comfortable, Evie, on the other hand, not so much. Stratton and Evie like to sneak into our bed in the early morning hours. I found them like this when I came back upstairs after working out. I'm sure Evie appreciated the knee on her face. She is totally pinned and Stratton is totally oblivious. It's always good to start out the day with a good laugh!

1st day of school 2010

August 23, 2010. The first day of school. Haden 9th grade (9th grade President this year), Andrew 7th grade (first year at Junior High), and Stratton 1st grade (full day of school now). So lots of changes and adjustments. Looking forward to a great year for my handsome boys!

20 year Reunion

I can't believe it's been 20 years! Time flies. Troy and I were on the planning committee so we were very involved in the preparations for this event. I think it went great and it was fun to see everyone from Bingham class of 1990!

Oh NO!

Andrew sporting his battle wound from Scout camp. At least it's pretty cool looking. Andrew was struck with a fishing hook that hooked right into his face....ouch!! But all is well and he survived. And now he has bragging rights!

Wave Runners

One of the highlights of our Bear Lake trip was renting some wave runners. It was a blast! The kids were so brave in the big waves, especially Andrew, he has no fear. Me on the other hand, I like to take it nice and easy, I prefer the tame, leisurely rides. The kids thought I was kind of boring in that respect and much preferred their dad.

Big Smiles

Aimee and Danny were in charge of the reunion at Bear Lake. Aimee made these cute t-shirts for everyone and we got a group picture. Haden wasn't able to join us on this trip because of football. We really missed him. My parents were not able to join us either because they were in Trinidad. We missed Anne too this year. So we definately had some empty spots, but we had a fabulous time and are so grateful for this great Harris family reunion tradition we started a few years ago. We always have so much fun together, we are very blessed!

About half way through the trip, Evie started running a fever, she wasn't feeling so good in this picture :(

Stages

Evie went in stages with the whole raft idea. At first she was really excited to get in and started to push the raft out into the water and got in, she even liked it for a couple of seconds. But it didn't take long (as you can see by the bottom middle picture), the fun quickly came to a screeching halt and she wanted OUT!!

Brothers?

Danny, Mitch, and Jason.... Personalities similar, YES; all witty, smart and level headed. Look similar, NO not really!

Playing on the Beach

Bear Lake beaches are the best. The kids spent hours building sand castles, and playing in the water. The kids are so content, it makes it such a nice, relaxing trip!

Grandma and Evie

These are a couple of sweet pictures of Evie with her Grandma Harris just a couple weeks before she left on her mission with Grandpa. Evie loves her Grandma. Grandma Harris always makes sure their time together is meaningful and fun. They read books together and always seem to get in a few rounds of the song "Horsey, Horsey" while Grandma bounces Evie on her knee, Evie loves that!

Saying Goodbye

We will miss mom and dad as they serve their mission in Trinidad for 18 months. We had a little birthday party for Stratton slash farewell party for mom and dad at Murray park. Although it won't be the same without mom and dad around, we are excited for the great experiences that lie ahead for them.
