We had a very memorable Christmas in 2008! It all started
with our little Christmas miracle when Anne was able to
come home for Christmas and surprise the kids! We thought
that all hope was lost until we found a miracle flight home
for Anne at the last second! All flights had been canceled from
Portland due to heavy winter storms. It was a great surprise
and pretty much made our whole Christmas. Anne is so much
fun and we played hard while she was here! Christmas Eve at
the Langstons was fun with an delicious Turkey dinner and
fun program. Troy and Clay played the guitar, Andrew played
the piano, Stratton and Evie sang Jingle Bells, and I recited The
Living Christ from memory while Clay signed it. Travis, Maria
and friends sang a Christmas Hymn in Spanish. We opened
our traditional Christmas pajamas, and exchanged cousin gifts!
Christmas morning was fun! Grandpa & Grandma Harris,
Anne & Mitch were there. Evie was so cute with her kitchen
set and ice cream cone. Evie and Anne must have licked their
play ice cream cones for like an hour! Stratton was especially
excited to receive his long awaited Nintendo DS. Haden and
Andrew were very surprised to get Rockband. It was a great
holiday season. We feel so blessed!
